How long does it take to set up a Water Trampoline?
It takes about one to two hours to set up a WATER TRAMPOLINE like the 15' Classic. It can be done by one person, but the more hands the faster it goes. Set up time can be reduced if the trampoline surface is left assembled during storage leaving you to only inflate the floatation tube and then fasten the frame assembly on top. A WATER BOUNCER like the padded bounce & splash setups up in just a few minutes. Without springs or frame, this product simply requires inflating with a shop vac or power inflator.
How do I inflate my Water Bouncer or Water Trampoline?
We recommend using a Shop Vac or high volume power inflator / deflator like the Metro Hurricane Blower. With a power inflator it only takes about 30 minutes to inflate a 15' water trampoline and about 10 minutes to inflate a water bouncer. If you are in a remote location, you can also us a LEAF BLOWER. Simply butt the blower up to the open valve and shoot the air in. Quickly close the valve when it is full or "basketball firm". TO DEFLATE YOUR TUBE, open the valve and put your inflator or shop vac on reverse and suck the air out. This will also help when you store your tube because it will be very flat and easy to roll up quickly.
Do we leave our Water Trampoline or Water Bouncer in the water all year long?
We strongly suggest you take the water trampoline out of the water after the summer season is over. This will increase the longevity of the product .
How deep does the water need to be to use a water trampoline?
You should anchor your water bouncer or water trampoline in 8 to 10 feet of water in an area at least 30 feet from your dock and other obstructions.
How do you anchor the water trampoline?
Around the outside of the floatation tube you will find several stainless steal d-rings for tying ropes and anchoring your water trampoline. These rings are also placed on the inside (under the jump mat) on many water trampolines as well. You can use marine anchors or cinder blocks as anchors to secure your Water Trampoline. You can also secure it to a mooring or buoy. Depending on the wind conditions and size of the product, you will need 1 to 4 anchors to securely keep your water trampoline in place. We also recommend the use of a bungee cord or shock cord as a part of the anchor line. This will help absorb vertical movements of the product due to waves and normal use. Choose a location protected from wind and water currents if possible.
Can we use our water trampoline on land?
No, we do not recommend using your water bouncer or water trampoline on land.
Do you need a permit for the water trampoline?
Most areas do not require any special permits, however, you should check with your local authorities or DNR to determine permit requirements in your area.
How do you repair the inflation tube if it gets a leak?
You can find leaks by pulling the water trampoline into shore, fully inflating it and with a hose or spray water bottle go over the tube with your hand. Many times you will hear the leak before you see it. Small holes (under 1/4 inch) can be easily fixed using the repair kit enclosed in the box. Follow the directions included in the repair kit and you will be jumping again in no time.
Maintained & Storage
We suggest that before you store your inflatable you give it a good cleaning. Wash it with soap and water as you would your car or boat. Use a mild soap or inflatable boat cleaner. Do not use petroleum based cleaners. Dry the tube and roll it up in a tarp or use a large plastic container . A plastic trash can with a lid works well. Be sure to store is where rodents will not nest in it . The frame and springs can be disassembled or left intact and stored under a deck or leaned up on the side of your home until needed in the spring.
